I'm having the exact same issue, but can't find anything that relates exactly to the problem. Any ideas/links?

If you're getting the double beep it means something is open/ajar/not connected and isn't allowing the system to arm. For example, I recently installed a double din stereo and forgot to unplug the stock radio chassis ground. It wouldnt let me arm the alarm until I unplugged it, after that all is well. Did you change something recently?
