There you go. Your car is at the age where you should think about replacing the motor mount. Do you have the annoying 3000 rpm vibration?

Try this: have someone sit in the driver's seat while you're at the back looking at the exhaust. With the car in Park (Tip) or neutral (manual) and the emerg brake on, have them blip the gas hard, while you watch the exhaust tip. If it moves a lot (say an inch or so), you're definitely due. This won't necessarily tell you if you're NOT due! With the interior engine access hatch off, you could also try to see if there's cracking in the rubber part of the mount.

Many have found that replacing the mount provides a huge improvement in shifting and reduction or elimination of the vibration. That's what I'm hoping for when I do mine in the spring.
