Squeel sound between shifting. Stage 3 clutch/Aasco lightweight flywheel

I installed the stage 3 spec clutch and aasco lightweight flywheel at the start of the summer and ever since i noticed once in a while between shifting wether its downshifting or upshifting any rpms i i would get a squeel sound when letting off the clutch, 3500km later since the set up the same sound. any ideas?

Yep.. That's disc engagement and it's totally normal for such an aggressive set up. You must be making a whole lit of power to need that arrangement.

Race clutch set ups have some negative aspects, this is one of them.

Thanks Jake, yeah theres a lot of negatives with this setup. Take off is a pain, you need to rev it high then slowly disengage the clutch or else it will be a bumpy take off.

If I had to do it again, I wouldnt. Good thing I drive this very rarely.

Been there.. My 996 Land Speed car has a similar arrangement.

I guess that makes me feel a little better that you had the same issues. I always thought something was wrong. I hate the side effects of this setup.
