The roof scoop is seperate from the "hard top" and the rest of the interior. The bars from the cage are all within the hard top itself. I build the cages to get as much head room as possible which means going up into the hard tops as far as possible.

All of the paint work on the chassis is done which means I can really start assembly. Just have to start painting the body panels...

Our cars don't rust out in AZ so miserable vehicles like that are able to suffer through long painful lives. Fortunately I don't have to work on that pile.

easy on thte taurus!!! there was a guy on ebay a few months back selling a mid-70's lotus esprit with a taurus sho engine in it ( the one with the funky-looking intake manifold designed by yamaha); that car could probably give any of our boxsters a run for their money (while it was running, that is).

The key there being "designed by Yamaha" i.e. Japanese designed which is why it was a good engine. The Taurus was a terrible car.
