03/04 cars are almost plug and play. You already have the 7.8 DME, you just need to run the additional 4 wires for the VarioCam Plus solenoids and re-flash the DME with 3.6 programming. The rest is "normal" stuff like headers, intake, exhaust, beefier clutch, lowering the engine (or using the X51 intake manifolds), etc.

If you are saying the motor doesn't need to be lowered if the x51 intake is used, tell me more!
