If you look at the inside of your trunk lid right above the cap you might find some white residue or some condensation. If thats the case you need a new cap. If not then you probably can live what you have until it fails.

Smile dumping coolant

i have a 99 boxster that kept dumping coolant and i finally resolved it b y changing the reservior, it had a small leak and was a common issue in the boxster.

Did you notice any water pooling up under the reservoir? Or was the leak so small that the amount of coolant leaked immediately evaporate? I had no water under my tank so I think the cap will be the answer. Thanks for you contribution.
