I love German Holidays!

Today is a German Holiday, but I had to work. I hit the autobahn, and barely saw 1o cars in my whole 10 mile commute.
I can tell you that 130 MPH with the top down for 10 miles will give you a silly grin and a hairstyle to match!

My 01S makes the dullest days exciting.

45th birthday is this weekend, so I am taking my car to Hochenheim for the first time. Can't wait!

New to the forum

I am in Scottsdale after just moving from the Denver area where I had my 2001 S (Polar Silver and red interior) tucked into the garage for 6-7 months per year so only 45K miles on her now.... I picked it up in Stuttgart in January 01 and my wife and I drove it all over Germany and France before having it shipped too the US. Awesome experience!! Happy to have found the forum for information and sharing.

Welcome to the board. I too have an 01 when I bought it, she had similar miles on her. 55,000 now the dash reads 74, only 2 years later

I just purchased my '99 on 4th of July weekend. Traded in my '88 944. Once I took a test drive I was hooked. I've owned 3 944's and I alwways wanted a drop top. For the price of a 944 cab I was able to get a 986 in much better condition.
My poor motorcycles are feeling the neglect, but this car is FUN! When I tell people it's a 12 year old car they don't believe me. With only 66k on it, it doesn't drive like a 12yo. My GF loves it, and when momma is happy, the whole world is happy!

Moncler italy

Thank you a lot for giving everyone an exceptionally pleasant possiblity to read in detail from this blog. It really is so amazing and as well , stuffed with a lot of fun for me personally and my office co-workers to search your web site a minimum of thrice a week to see the newest stuff you have got. And indeed, I'm just usually contented with all the staggering inspiring ideas you give. Certain 4 facts in this posting are easily the finest we've had.

Hi all, I bought my first Porsche just this month, a silver 2003 Boxster S with extended red leather throughout, Litronics, Bose stereo, M030 suspension, active mirrors and rain sensors, heated seats, etc, etc..

I took it out for a nice 2-day holiday last week and just clocked 33,000 kms. Yup, it's pretty much brand new. Hopefully I haven't already lost my license due to the speeds I was 'accidentally' reaching.

I have a 2000 Boxster, and bought it new in 2000. Not a day goes by that I don't get excited about driving it (top down always). Just installed the Suncoast rear speaker kit, and the sound is great at 70mph. I've toyed with buying a new 991, but every time I get close, something pulls me back. I agree that the curves on the 986 are much cleaner than the newer models (in my opinion).

Ah, you're still a youngster. I'm 64 and about to buy my first Porsche, a car I've been in love with since forever. I don't know why I waited this long, must have been something to do with being poor.:ah: I suddenly have the feeling if I don't do it now I may never get around to it. So damn the expense, I'm going to get a Boxster S, join a club and take some performance driving lessons. Make hay while the sun shines!
