Just wondering if anyone knew if the Cayman actually has higher hips.
Your right! The 2 cars shape is the same. If they don't believe you, send them to the Zeintop web site and have them look at the 987 with the hardtop on it. Looks exactly the same as a Cayman in shape and form. That a good way to see how close they are.

I believe they are the same, but of course I've never been attracted to a car's hips. I look at the overall package before committing.

Her body means nothing! It's what's on the inside that really counts.

You have to first like what you see on the exterior before you want to even see what the interior looks like.

I'm pretty sure that I read in a magazine article that the Cayman's rear fenders are shaped differently than the Boxster. But either way, the perception is what matters here. If they're dimensionally the same or not, they do appear to be different.

I agree that the Cayman does seem to have more pronounced hips. I was just at a Porsche dealer last week and pointed this out to my wife when I noticed it. I like the look personally, but I honestly can't say whether it's an optical illusion or not.
