Boxster S emblem on spoiler - opinions?

I ordered the car in Guards Red (expect it in a few weeks) with the emblem deleted and bought a Black emblem, which I was going to put on in the factory location. But now I am thinking of relocating it to the spoiler - anyone seen one there? I am almost afraid to ask...opinions? I should add that I am not a purist.

You want to put it on the top portion of the spoiler, or the inside so people see it when it comes up at speed?

Ha! What I meant by not being a purist is that I don't think twice about doing things differently (mods, non-factory stuff, etc.).

And I am thinking about putting on the top of the spoiler, where it is always seen...had not thought about the area that is only seen when it is up.

I've seen it and it looks pretty cool. I'll see if I can find a pic. However, I think you would have to use a very thin decal, not the raised badge.

He's talking about putting it ontop of the flat spot on his 987 spoiler. DON'T DO IT! I don't think that will look good at all. Not to mention the spoiler is slightly arced so it may look crooked no matter how straight it is when you apply it. Areodynamicaly it may not be sound either. But doubt it would cause any serious problems.

The only way you could do it is if you got it done in vinyl from a sign shop and have them put it on. The original one will not adhere to the curves, IMO.

Here's a picture of the decal that was on my rear spoiler. It came to me this way from the seller. I've since peeled it off as a spur of the moment thing while washing the car one afternoon.
