Well, I tried to drive the car to the mechanic after i thought the clutch was just slipping and i could make it . Well to say the least it is died did not make it at all which is ok cause my friend has a flatbed . I might have confused some people about the flywheel being resurfaced. I bought a low mileage used flywheel from Oklahoma foreign for 200 which I figured was a good price considering a new one is 700.00. The mechanic got the flyhweel and said it was in really good shape and that was very minor wear on it and it would be a easy resurfacing. I do want to ask when you did the new clutch was there much a difference in shifting or any improvement.

Well it's done

Well, seems that the clutch was the orginal one which lasted 97k miles. He said the flyhwheel was like swiss cheese so it was a good thing I had gotten a new one. Also he replaced the RMS and serptine belt and welded a small crack in my exhaust pipe. He said it graps like a son of a b*tch and it I need to adjust my driving style to the new clutch . The cost for the labor was fair considering he did a clutch job, flywheel replacement,RMs, Belt, and welded a crack. I would say it was a steal considering most dealers charger well over a 1k for just a clutch job plus a parts. Hopefully.. the old clutch was just on it's way out and it was my driving style that killed it. I guess time will only tell ...
