2VO Registered User Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Anza, CA Posts: 2	Wndow raising after opening door I did as you suggested (turn engine on with door open), and the interior lights did not come on. Your diagnosis of the problem has to be right on. Now, how do I get to the microswitch on the door closing striker plate (or should I take it to the dealer)? I find nothing regarding this in the Boxter-S manual. Regardless, thanks Carlos for your insight in pinpointing the problem so that I can relate it to the dealer's service tech. 2VO
