Exclamation release cables

Where exactly are the emergency release cables for front & rear hoods when you have a dead battery ?

Thanks nick
I called dealer & its suppose to be between the headlight assembly & top of fan housing behind the passenger wheel housing. Which I could not find even with a flashlight. So I removed the pass. headlight & looked down the hole on top the bumper & low & behold there the cable was. I moved it from there & slid it down to the spoiler grille by the temp. probe and tucked it off to side., so if I have a dead battery again I will get to it faster. Just an idea to pass on. Nice 99 boxster I also have one
