- fuel sending unit - top relay - AOS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Parting out a whole lot of Boxsters
@itsnotanova thanks for the info, let me know if you get one in the next week or two.

Do you have a wheel hub? Maybe you have a hub in a knuckle with a bearing as well. Let me know. It is for a 98 boxster. Thanks!

I do have top relay's for $20 shipped. I don't have a AOS you would want to buy. Those are something you would normally want to buy new. Hard to judge the age of a used AOS, so it's better to assume it's old. Quote:

I found one on eBay from a trusted seller brand new with a return policy and free shipping that I'll probably order tomorrow. The fan went weird and started rumbling when on about 3 months ago. due to it being the dead of winter I just kept the AC off between now and then but now it's getting a little hot so I finally opened things up to see what's wrong. Anyways should be fixed soon. |

i pickded up a good 03/04 in Hersey last weekend, but i have run into the old A version B pillar micro switch problem of not being able to trip it with the newer top. It looks like the best course of action is updating my drive system to the newer version in the 2000-04 cars, anything you have and if you ship to Canada |
I'll gladly sell you all that stuff, but I don't think you need it. I've never had anyone ask me for any parts after switching to the 03/04 top. The transmissions are $50 each and the relay is $15. I'll throw in the cables and mounting studs. You should be able to use the other parts from your early top. I would know shipping until I get it boxed up, but I'd guess $60-70. Shipping there gets stupid crazy.

Pm sent, thanks Woody

I was working on my headlights today and when I went to put them back in I broke the socket / plug that holds the blinker bulb in the passenger side headlight.
Do you have one of those? |
under seat plug ....
Hi Woody,\
I'm putting stock seats back in (need to look presentable)... but I cut out the powered seat plug. DOOOH! Could you cut both (pass and drivers side) out of one of your wreckers? Please cut wiring loom as far back as you can .... Thanks, Matt |
Hi Woody - what do you have for the amp and stock speakers (CDR-220 radio) I have the non bose with dash and door speakers. I'm having a problem and I am trying to track down if it's a head unit, amp or speaker problem.

Hi Woody. I am looking for a complete dashboard for a 2001 in Graphite Grey. I would prefer leather but will take vinyl if it is in good shape. Let me know what you have.
Thanks, John |

I will leave it to Adam at this point. Thanks for the response. John |
Hello, do you have your vehicle inventory list or pics posted somewhere?
Looking to replace center and door arm rests, door and center console trim on my 2000 Boxster S. Also need a key, plastic pieces that hold the key fob. Do you have pics of those parts in very good to excellent condition? Thank you. Respectfully, Mitchell |
Woody, as one of the resident forum experts on the differences between various 986 models, is there any reason the black hood cowl trim piece (just below windshield) from an early model 97-2000 couldn't be fitted to a later 2001-2004 model.
I ask b/c you commented on the increased longevity of the earlier version. I have already replaced the one on my 2001 once, and at 2 yrs age it is already faded terribly, and never seemed to lie perfectly flat anyway. |

Do you have the axles off that 2000S or are they long gone? Last time we chatted you didn't have any S axles.

Need turn signal stalk assembly
Hi, have you got a 3-stalk column switch assembly? With OBC and without Cruise Control. Thanks.
Note: my car is RHD. I hope the part is identical to LHD's. |
Hi Woody,
Looking for a small part. This is the clip that is attached to an elastic strap that is a part of the inner top liner. I broke one of them so looking for only one. Thanks, Mark http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02/Clip1463214198.jpg |

Hey Woody,
Looking for a visor mirror cover, would you possibly have one? thanks in advance, Randy |
Hi Randy,
Every once in awhile I get a box come in with a good driver's mirror cover. Most of the time the cover's missing and half the time the right side is too. You're probably going to have to buy a new cover. They're not that expensive but they are missing the "WARNING" sticker. I haven't had much luck getting any Porsches in lately. Prices at the auction have been stupid high for the last two months for 986s and 996s. Good news is that 987 prices are starting to coming down quite a bit. I picked this one up this week from a private seller. It's in rough shape with burn headlights and no wind diffusors. 98 tip with unknown mileage. http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/x...pst8ib6ygf.jpg |
Woody; What shape is that front bumper cover in?
|
It's in great shape but I don't ship large body parts at this time. Sorry
