Hmm. Interesting title to this post if the engine hasn't been opened up and IMSB failure confirmed. Several other failures can result in timing changed and oil leaking.

hmmmm, did you get the guy to do a boroscope inspection to see what is what before replacing the engine? I guess it is under warranty

I have myself access to a couple of endoscopic tools. I will try to get some shots but still... Fixing Porsche misdesign is making me mad...

Do you know somebody that could help for the warranty?

unfortunately I am just a hobbyist...they are many on here with experience with warranty issues

IMS bearing is toasted. You don't need to open the engine to see that...
remove the front water pump cover and the transmission to have access to the IMS bearing holder.
