They new the styling had to be almost perfect, the marketing material strong, and that maybe a Le Mans victory with a 4 cylinder in the past year would help as well. All of this was prepared well ahead of sales figures and it's simply the company giving an extra push where it's expected to be valuable.

I moved to the US almost 9 years ago.
This is the first time I see a Porsche commercial on TV.
Porsche a definetly being aggressive with this one.
