Test Drive
A number of us got to test drive the Panamera at Danbury Porsche today. PDK seamless power delivery. None turbo has bags of torque and the 4.8 liter V8 pulls like a freight train, only a lot quicker. Large but comfortable car both front and back seats and the console has more switches than a 747 (joking of course but there are plenty). Light as a feather steering and the first time I hit the non ceramic brakes I almost put my chest into the dash. You barely put your foot on the brake or you will come down hard. I even like the looks, it reminds me a bit of a bathtub Merc chopped top custom and presents a menacing appearance. Both demonstrator and floor car were both black. I need this engine and tranny in my Boxcar....
