Heqdlights?

Love the headlights. Mine are clouding over and not responding well to cleaning, and I've never loved the fried egg look. Can you tell me where you got them?

Sure

There you go http://986forum.com/forums/boxster-general-discussions/77130-now-available-porsche-986-996-mk1-headlight-conversion-covers.html

I moddified the blinker cut outs with black ZUNSPORT front mesh grills.

hmm...how close am I to Porsche's upcoming one-off 996 sports classic?

...just a plasti-dip rattle can, two pieces of vinyl wrap and a duck tail away.

Actually, how would a duck tail look on a Boxster?

I finally found a German distributor/manufacturer with CE/TÜV certified products...I think I gonna go full fast & furious...lol
Stripped down the lower plastic padding on the driver's side and checked the proof of concept.

I don't need the Porsche lettering on the door.

As an idea: last attempt reminds me on something like the BB Porsche 911 SC built by Rainer Buchmann, but with a different color scheme.

And as always: i like your approach doing things different.

Oh my Lord, I lost it....

fiat lux...wip
running 4 glas fiber cables from an LED on the back of my iphone holder, just to illuminate a pretend radio dial
...the apple charging puck had to be relocated for better performance
...and a new USB-C 65Watt charger had to be installed and powered directly from the fuse box. These wireless charging devices need a lot of juice
...it offers now an additional monitor for tire pressure and additionally two flickering amber lights with no purpose
...and more

I used every inch possible of the frame and when it's fired up, it looks like a Notfallbeleuchtung on WW2 UBoat.

Not so sure about the rainbow color scheme, but wow...that interior

So I took my sticky old rubber console, shipped it to that saddler...and he shipped it back covered (after stripping the rubber of course) with finest OEM quality leather (just like the OEM crested arm rest, which i found brand new on eBay). What a difference...
Where did you find the e-brake handle shown in this photo? My Porsche wood veneer handle is crumbling and I am considering a replacement.

Thanks

They were being offered on ebay Germany a few years back, it was kind of a rare find. As far as I can remember, 3 of those were sold as journeyman's pieces - "new" (to become a carpenter?).
Quality is absolutely fine...but I had to work on the inside to make it fit properly.

Now guess what? I found on ebay today: Maybe it was one of those being sold, "used" now.
search on ebay for: Porsche 996 986 Handbremse Handbremshebel Echtholz

Yes, I thought so as well. The seller sent me an offer for $300 but then there is still about $60 in shipping. It does look nice though and my center console is showing it’s age.

Unfortunately, the seller won't ship internationally. That would have been a nice upgrade.

It's coming to an end (WIP)...1st pic shows the concept with secondary monitor, little weathering

WHAT HAPPENED??

BURL WOOD DESIGN

ATTACHABLE sun shade. As it is blocking the view on my iphone sreen quite a bit, I decided to only attach it, when the sun is too glary. I can easily store it under the middle arm rest.

Okay...so this is the last "version" (still minor things to do) of it.
NEXT and FINAL step will be an iPad mini, but it has to have wireless charging (they still don't offer that)...maybe in 2023/2024.
Until then I'll have fun with my little iphone holder/recharger with additional features.

Boxster California...
I used to drive all the time to the beaches in Northern Germany and Denmark. Some even allow cars on the beach. And yes...the Boxster is perfect for the beach, sand and dunes.
What the Boxster really needs is a foldable sun shade, which spans over the entire interior and 2 boogie board holders would be cool too.
Should be easy to design and engineer. What I did today (just to keep the sun away) worked, but that's it. I might put that on my project list...something cool looking...for the beach...Boxster California.

P.S.: SAND is a nice souvenir, which you can enjoy even after years in your car. But hey...
