Excellent write up! I myself will be buying a 981 in the next year. I am going to keep my 986. I have driven a lot of phenomenal cars, and the 986 really is something special. Last year I had the chance to track a Ferrari F430, a C7 stingray, Audi R8 V10, and a Lamborghini Gallardo at Hallet in Jennings Oklahoma. Next month I am going back to track a Mclaren MP4 and the new Porsche GT3. Even after all of that, the 986 is a pure, raw, drivers car. Love it! But I might change my mind on the 981 if the GT3 is everything they say it is.
