I feel much the same way and have purposely not driven a 981 cause I know I will lust after one. Motobob's write up makes it tempting to cash out some investments and buy now. Fortunately the only Porsche dealer in the Phoenix area is across town but that is soon changing with one opening this year just 4 miles from the house.
Two and a half years of college tuition left for my daughter. At that point I should be approaching 90k on mine and it will be time for either a GTS or GT4. I used to lust after another 911 but once you go mid-engined it's hard to go back and with the power levels in the 981 very similar and 991 having become more of a GT then a sports car it the 981 that I want.
