The boxsters replacement...BRZ :)

Well my engine threw a bearing, so it was time to leave Boxster in the past. Check out my new 2014 BRZ. It's a limited model. And I must say these cars have to be the best bang for your buck on the market right now. I mean man, what a blast to drive!

Good choice on the color. It's not the most popular version, but I think it will age well in silver. They always catch my eye on the road.

How does it stack up against the boxster? I know they are quite different, but it would probably be the only car on my list that could realistically be a second "fun car" in the future. You probably gain quite a bit of chassis stiffness and suspension engineering.

That's the same body as the Scion FR-S. I have heard good things about both versions except perhaps the FR-S is a bit underpowered. Nice get.

I test drove one of these a few months ago, I was shocked how stiff and nimble they were. I loved it. I believe I saw your boxster for sale one craigslist today? Is it silver?

Cool car. I test drove one when they came out. Unfortunately all they had at the time was one with an auto tranny. For the power curve the auto was a very poor match and made it slow. Otherwise great car. I assume you got a manual which I am sure a huge improvement. Enjoy and I am sure you will be back in a Porsche in the future.

Thanks! Silver wasn't my first choice either but the more I thought about it and looked at it the more I talked myself into it.

The interior is beautiful for the price and its more fun to drive than my 2000 base boxster. Speed wise, I'd say the BRZ is real close with it's close ratio 6 speed.

Go take a test drive and you'll be coming back to it.

The FR-S and BRZ are completely identical except for the front ends, interior options and the rear suspensions are slightly different. Subaru wouldn't let Toyota use the double wishbone w/ mcpherson struts so instead they use just a double wishbone. Their engines are identical, however.

BRZ STI is supposed to go on the market 2015, so expect to see some boosted ones soon!
