Tips

Mine comes back from being painted in a couple of days. It didnt come with the car and I had it on to take it to the shop. I had to fiddle with lock lever plate screws to get them to lock. Any tips on doing the adjustment ? The guy I bought it from didnt know. He also said to put a light film of car wax on the rubber seal to have it adhere better ?

DIY "Zeintop"

I just did not like the look of my hardtop bowler hat look so this is my DIY "Zeintop" made of carbon fiber/epoxy. Less than $500 bucks including
window and rattle can paint job.

Wow. Looks great! Like a mini-911 Turbo.

It makes me want lots more details, though. Is it built over the stock top, or from scratch? What kind of window did you use? How do you open it? Why did you cover up the spoiler? (You never drive over 70mph?)

Thanks Silver! Built from scratch over the stock top and trunk, window is from a 2002 911. I converted my Box to all electric drive 5 yrs ago so I have no oil or maintenance issues so no need to open on a regular basis. Easy to remove though if I need to. Although not quite as quick as when it was gas, it will do well over 100mph. I needed the spoiler area for rear attachments.
