Ray,

I am selling them. Here is the craigslist posting:

But it would be difficult to get them to Chicago.

Took some glamour shots of the Lapis Blue today. Let me know what you think.

Roughly the same angle, but with the HDR filter on the camera:

It's been a long 4.5 months in storage but the weather was nice enough this weekend so I took her out and got it warmed up, changed the oil and slapped on the new rims. I'll take some better pics this summer but here she is for now to join the BLUE thread.

You all have very nice roadsters. I just came into possession of a Lapis Blue/ gray and would like to change the stock 5 spoke twist to perhaps another color. You think I could pull off a Gloss White? Have not seen one on our roadsters but many other cars and look great. What say you all?

Meh...white doesn't sound right. Did mine in plasti-dip black - like it a lot. Try red! Easy to change if you don't like!

Not my preference but everyone is different. Here is a thread that will show you what a blue boxster with white wheels looks like

I think silver is as far as I would go. White is a bit much and would be a pain to keep clean.

Hey Lapister...Here is my 2001 Lapis Blue with white wheels...I love it! I know it does not appeal to everyone but i wanted to do something a little different. I had the original 5 spoke wheels on it as well and decided to change them to the 10 spoke and have them powder-coated. I had the front/side vents and center caps painted to match and of course did the side PORSCHE stripe. I think the contrast looks great with the Lapis Blue. I see you are in Pasadena, maybe see you around sometime!!

White Wheels

Drew, I think that's a pretty nice signature myself. Better than I thought it would be. Socal? We should do a local run sometime. My Wilson, Crystal Lake, Glendora Mt Rd? Supercarsunday? Want to see it in person. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, its a simple DIY front meshes, surrounded with chrome trim strips and fastened with cable wire zip.
I have no problem with airflow, it protects the radiator from mud/debris, and stays clean inside the radiator.

So, don't share this with those silly silver Boxster owners - you know how they get - but isn't it GREAT owning the best Boxster color!?!

Had her for 3 years now. Installed self assembled LNE sleeved 3.6 engine, bilsteins, spoiler from a Aerokit II, beside lots of regular maintenance
