Actually, both. I have an '06 STI. My girlfriend and I (might as well be my wife) just signed a purchase agreement this weekend for a '00 Boxster S in Arctic Silver. I kicked in a 2 grand to help her out. I call it "upgrade to an S money".
We pick it up this week. We are just waiting for our bank to send the check so we can pay the current owner and take posession of the car. These last few days of waiting are going to be torture.
We have been looking for the right Boxster for about 3 weeks now. We ended up getting this beauty for $25,650. IT has 51K miles.
I am trying to get my girlfriend into autocrossing. We are both signed up for an auto-x driving school on Dec. 3 and then are competing in the autox event on Dec.4 (this weekend). It's like a wet dream come true. I am hardly sleeping at night recently.
How did you know I was an STI guy?
