Hey Larry,

Great to hear from you... As far as the intake on the boxster /boxster s goes... They are specifically designed for noise reduction and debris catching... Which for Joe Average is great! If I had to recommend an air intake, I would suggest an Evo intake or an FVD, possibly TTP (TTP and FVD are a bit more expensive)...

If a stock boxster owner wanted a suggestion on two upgrades, I would suggest the intake and a B&M short throw shifter (manual transmission)... Both of these made the most dramatic difference to me out of all upgrades (for the $$$)...
