Little Red has a new big brother!

Well I pulled the truck out of the garage to make room for a second Boxster. My 2000 'S' now has a friend and he is very handsome. Here is my new 2007 (with 7k miles on it) Meteor Gray Base:

That's what I said! . This one is a gem. Apparently the guy drove it about 1200 miles a year and around town. No indication of rock chips, bug tar...and to top it off he apparently didn't drive in the rain because I can tell it was not washed much either.

I figured I would have to Zaino PC it for about 5 hours then polish, and put a final coat of Z2 on it. It turns out there were little to none swirl marks/cobwebs. I only polished it for 4 hours (I use a quality random orbital) and put some Z6 on it so far. It was very dirty when I picked it up from sitting at dealership so i didn't know for sure what I got. The only two tough areas to clean were very dirty hand marks on the leather (I'm guessing he got in it after golfing each weekend) and those weird tough spots that form inside rims. I am so pleased, this one is good enough to concours.

Saturday Red, Sunday Gray. Cleaned up the garage, got one of my posters framed and took a few more pics. I wish this Sony Cyber-shot showed reds better.

Cheers.

Thanks for the compliment! No basements in Texas. I'm originally from Wisconsin and really miss having basement storage. Now I have to get as much as I can on shelves against the side walls plus two vehicles. It all fits though.

Hey buddy! How you been? I figured you were back in ATL otherwise would have had you over. I'll give you a call this weekend and we'll catch up. Gotta work today, then if this front gets through might drive to the mountains tomorrow.

It's called a crappy Sony over priced camera. It's actually metallic.
