Wow. I still don’t know how you guys drive like that (LEFT side of the road). We were in England a few years ago, and I remember being on a bus at one point, doing some twisty turny back roads. Drove me crazy, at least for awhile…every time we’d enter into a curve (on the wrong side of the road!), I’d feel myself bracing for impact with that yet-unseen oncoming vehicle. Amazingly---no collision ever occurred! (We’d pass that oncoming vehicle and, fortunately for everybody, HE was on the wrong side of the road too!)
On top of all that, shifting with my left hand would feel really bizarre as well.
I guess if I lived there I’d get used to it…eventually.
