FYI, be careful not to over-tighten the screws...

FYI, be careful not to over-tighten the screws for the burp valve. They are easily stripped. You can also order the valve's two O-rings to rebuild your existing valve.

How long do you plan to keep it after the work is completed? If you are going to keep it indefinitely, is it gonna bother you? If it isn't an issue for you, who cares what the next owner thinks.
