I only use German A5 canvas. The sonnendeck stretches too much especially the blue canvas. I installed a black top on a 2000 today :cheers:

On the sides of the top there should be a strip...

On the sides of the top there should be a strip of canvas with velcro on the end. That should fit tight on frame bow. Put top 1/2 way down and inspect this. That flap keeps the top close to frame...

If you are only paying 300-400 for top, it must be very poor quality. I only install Gahh tops here in NewJersey when I sell them. I charge $410.00 labor for any other top.

GAHH was the first to offer top with glass window. They did have delamination problems..... they offer top with reinforcement pocket. Robbins only recently offers top with glass window. Still new...

I prefer GAHH tops, they sponser this sight. However, topsonline sells a many tops. I install these tops in New Jersey. I charge $410.00. It should take 4-5 hours.
