Yeah, it was quick but I made up my mind in short time. I did drive a few others prior to purchase (so I have no excuse), but it was the "loaner" 997 I happened upon, and took home for a weekend,...

Boxster-911 headlight swap?

If you're just replacing one lamp, be aware that there are some minor differences inside the lamp. It's hard to describe, but the silver reflective area on some of the lamps are a diamond type...

Looks great, I love it!

The question is, what is the cost/price justification? Although I guess you could turn it back into a convertible, but would you ever do that? I would think the overall...

Tossed mine long ago. The POS locking socket is made out of pot metal and mine broke trying to take off the rear ones. Luckily my local porsche dealer let me use theirs.

Probably the best $25-40 you'll spend. Will let you do some minor troubleshooting then allow you to reset the code. This helped me quite a bit when troubleshooting my SAI and vacuum leak.

Who's driving a 987 or Cayman?

Wow, the 981 is just a fantastic looking car. I wish I could, but I can't justify the cost for a vehicle that will only be driven 5,000 a year. This is part of the reason I returned the 997S 2 weeks...

Great replies, thanks!
I'd be interested in any more experiences of those going from a Box to Cayman. If I can find time this week, I may try to find one or two to test drive.

Good luck.

Who's driving a 987 or Cayman?

Just wanted some candid comments from anyone who went from a 986 to 987/Cayman. As some of you may know, I've recently purchased a 996 and I'm just ho-hum with that decision. At the end of the day,...
