OK so I took it in today. They called me back and told me they didn't know what I was talking about and to come in and show them.

So I tried to show them and the guy said it's supposed to be like that, and that in that particular part of its path, the clutch isn't actually engaged.

I was skeptical because I don't remember it being like this. I took him out to run through the gears and show him. Whatever.

When I came back w/ my loaner car (a camry..wtf. I think the high end models get cayennes), I went into the showroom to try the clutch on their Boxster.

It was a LITTLE like mine, except it felt very smooth and new, whereas mine seemed a little worn.

So maybe my clutch is worn?
