Definately not normal...

That happened to mine last summer and eventually the clutch pedal would not come up at all... ended up being a leaking clutch line. They had to replace it and some o rings between the clutch master cyl. and the Slave cyl. You should check your Brake fluid level to see if it is low. I believe the clutch shares the brake fluid reservoir. Low fluid could indicate a leak.

OK so I took it in today. They called me back and told me they didn't know what I was talking about and to come in and show them.

So I tried to show them and the guy said it's supposed to be like that, and that in that particular part of its path, the clutch isn't actually engaged.


I was skeptical because I don't remember it being like this. I took him out to run through the gears and show him. Whatever.


When I came back w/ my loaner car (a camry..wtf. I think the high end models get cayennes), I went into the showroom to try the clutch on their Boxster.


It was a LITTLE like mine, except it felt very smooth and new, whereas mine seemed a little worn.

So maybe my clutch is worn?
