I could feel a difference between them, but it wasnt "wasted". After the swap the sound never came back.
This issue seems to be worn transmission mounts and has been tentatively confirmed with evidence of an exhaust flange rub against the cross-brace.
Im holding out for confirmation from this crazy racer. :+)
On trying to sort out the 'rattling' kind of weird noice, I also lifted the car up and turned the wheels in effort to try to hear anything un-usual from the all four wheel bearings - and found nothing out of normal there.
Also, the sound was no what I have so far noticed as a wheel bearing going out. There was no grinding sound. I'm sure that the bearings change are on the items to do sooner or later in the future
