Mclaren Taillights on a Boxster?

So the whole idea of a track car is to have fun right?... I'll admit this one is out there but why not, I've decide to install an oil cooler off the accusump in my...trunk. I'll vent air in through the decklid (which is plexiglass on my car) and our through the...taillights like the McLaren. Here's my plan roughed up, and no the car is not road legal.

I'm going to run the LED strip across the top of the light which will serve as the tail light and blinker (they actually sell them that have both built in. The outer round light is red and will be the brake light and the inner light is white and will be the reverse light.

Here’s the hardware I’m using. I still haven’t decided on the intake into the trunk, I was going to use an air cooled 911 deck lid grill but decided that was a little much.

I love it also, forgot about just being for track use.
I would advise checking out www.theretrofitsource.com for quality LEDs. They are more know for their HID Projector retrofit, but also carry some quality LED products as well.
Love the look.

Thanks for the link. They’re missing some key info their site, like what the product actually looks like (not computer generated images) the dimensions, flexibility etc. I’ll reach out to them.

I took a break from actual constructive work on my car and played with the tail lights. I think it looks pretty good.

Red tube LED is the tail light turns to yellow for blinker
Red circle is brake light
White light it reverse light not that the car will ever be on the road...

I rean with this idea and expanded it a little. I used a heat gun to mold the mesh to the shape of the lights. Race car again - both my rear lights are red - one brake, one marker. No turn signal or reverse.
