Unless you find a motor within east Canada, you're going to spend a bunch on shipping. I have lots of Canadian customers get their stuff delivered right across the boarder. I'm not sure how your taxes work, but I'd think about taking the intake manifolds off before you cross. I'd imagine a "Subaru" engine would be cheaper than a Porsche engine. I have a Mexican customer that has me write up fake invoices for when he crosses.

Thanks for your input Woody. Removing the intake manifolds changes what? I’ll have to contact the Canadian border services to see what the current situation is with auto parts. Your current president has thrown a wrench in the works and it is no longer clear what is dutied, taxed, surtaxed, etc. Before, auto parts manufactured in the US were duty free whereas German parts were taxed at 6.1%.
BTW do you have an 03 or later 3.2 motor?
Cheers James

I'd suggest contacting Alex Baldwin or Whoopi Goldberg. I'm sure that in fleeing our country for yours, they likely found some creative ways to import / export between the two.

The intake runners have Porsche stamped on them. Take them off and I doubt anyone will know what motor it is. Say it's a subaru motor. Easy enough to make a fake receipt to go along with it.

Sorry I don't. That's probably the hardest M96/M97 motor to come across. I've only ever had one out of the 70 boxsters I've bought. The guy who bought that one also has dibs on the next one. 3.6's are easier to come by and probably cost the same as a 3.2 3 chain.
