If the spoiler is raised automatically - the spoiler light will not come on. If at speeds above 75 mph the spoiler does not raise, or does not raise completely, the light will come on.
If you raise the spoiler manually, the light will come on and stay on while the spoiler is up. It will have to be lowered manually at which point the light goes off.
