The most repulsive thing...

Someone ought to put this abomination out of its misery... It is actually painful to look at this!

"Carrera GT Project Car"

I was looking for a Boxster S and stumbled across this...

Now that the GT is "mission accomplished", he will be starting the Mclaren SLR project as the poor black Benz (lurking from the background) awaits its impending doom.

Those tail lights are hot . . . . . . not

What a waste of a car. They would have a better chance parting the car out than trying to sell it like that. The motor alone should get some good money.

Send a message via MSN to CJ_Boxster
feel sorry for the new buyer, he'll probably be tricked into thinking that all it needs is alittle paint but infact it has alot of body fitment issues.

Ok, I will give them credit, it probaly took a lot of time and effort to do a job that "well". Other than the fact of the whole car is a lump of bondo, what really "grinds my gears" is the fact they were so lazy and stupid they put a "gt" symbol from a mustang on it after the original carrera. It just reminds me of ransom notes that are cut from magazines and stuff. I give the effort a 7 and the skill a 7, but they just failed at the concept.

Not sure what's worse- the car or his spelling.
I think if he tried to use spell check his CPU would probably catch fire from 'to mutch werk'.

As Bart Simpson once said: That's Craptacular!

Ok, the car is worse.

Now, without the roof, the car will likely implode on itself once driven on the street. Hence, a wicked liability lawsuit in the making.

Is this the dumbest thing you have ever seen?

If not, it must be a close second.

Aye, Carumba!

IT WAS PURCHASED AS A SALVAGE TITLE : 2000 COUPE 996 WITH 6 SPEED, INVOLVED IN THE LEFT SIDE COLLISION. THE CAR WAS ONLY 2 MONTHS OLD. ALL THE BODY IS MADE OFF FIBERGLASS MOLDED INTO THE ORIGINAL INNER STRUCTURE OFF 996.

I think it is coming along fine for a 6 1/2 Year Project !!!

I think I will inquire about the shipping cost.

I just threw up all over my keyboard. What was done to that car is actually explicitly prohibited in the Geneva Convention (in the cruelty to humans section)

LOL spot on guys... You know the most awful thing? Some little boy, perhaps about how old each of us was when we first fell in love with a 911, is gonna see that putrid thing and think it's the Carrera GT from his video game... and fall OUT of love with Porsche. Ok, too far? Maybe, but come ON! I don't know if raggin on this knucklehead/knucklehead's creation is going to get old... haha, until then: :ah:

(kidding-ish)

"To each his own" -BULLCORN!

"To each his own" is a phrase we see too often... and I for one do not believe in statements like that.

Take this car for example... it is ugly, and if you disagree, you are wrong -no, you are incorrect. This car PROVES that it is possible to have an incorrect opinion!

I bet the seller even thinks "maybe this was a mistake... I'll just toss it up on eBay, surely one man will think this trash is a treasure."

What's funny is that I bet he could get more than $15,000 for the orignally salvaged 996 had he NOT spent all that time and effort on the... concoction it is today.
