If these claims are true then I would do it...But companys dyno claims of power improvement are rarely accurate. I couldnt find on listed for the 2.5L.

Interesting...if you can find at least one person who has the mod done on a 2.5L with an opinoin please let me know.

This is one where you send in your ECU and they solder in a new chip and reprogram the ECU and return it to you. My friend has used their chips on several other cars, including his brother's car, and the power gains were very noticeable.

I've just heard so many people say the Boxster engines can't be upgraded much, that I was just wondering if anyone had actually tried this chip. I am happy with my Box as it is, but a little more power is always nice. I just don't want to mess things up.

Personally I would not want anyone messing with my chip. If you don't like how the car runs, what do you do then?
