Straight pipes for a Boxster

Hey I was just wondering if any of you guys know if theres a company that makes straight pipes for the boxster or if theres a person that would be willing to make them. Because I saw this clip of a Boxster with straight pipes and I fell in love with the sound. http://videos.streetfire.net/search/boxster/0/7CEE4678-393B-4FC6-9C98-CD4600E0172D.htm

I hope the reputable shop would provide hearing aids...I think you will go deaf.

Would it be that loud? I was thinking that it would be about as loud as a corvette.

Here's a stupid question... would straight pipes keep one from passing inspection?

Depends on the state. In CA, we do not have inspections in the classic sense. We do have a smog check every two years and the smog guy is supposed to check for any alterations to the intake and exhaust and fail you accrodingly.

I have a question... why do you want your "Porsche" to sound like a "Corvette"???

I'm really happy that my stock Boxster S sounds just like a Porsche!!!

I would think it would be very hard not to lose power what with the difficulties in getting the correct back pressure and the correct timing of exhaust pulses from the individual cylinders. Or does "straight pipes" just mean muffler-ectomy with headers feeding tailpipe?
