Idle issue when starting - warm only
Clutch, flywheel all new. new IMS. 22,000 miles. Car just started hunting idle during start up when car is warm. WARM only. Ie drive car for half hour, park it, then start it up 15 -30 min later and this happens. Sometimes worse than others. This is on my 996. Any thoughts? That is NOT me blipping throttle..that is the car hunting idle. No cel...

This sort of thing can happen when there is a restriction in the vent line (or defective valve) part # 996 110 129 04
At worst, the RPM will kangaroo and stall. This happens when the car is warm and has been sitting for 10 or 20 minutes. Cold start is good. Immediate hot start is good.

Yes that's exactly it...Immediate hot start ok...cold start ok...10-15 min sit and it happens...
