In the past, I've come across 0-40w at a local Walmart as well. But, I run Motul these days.

Did the shop that did your IMSB retrofit recommend the Motul brand or were you using it before that?

Used Mobil 1 in the past, the indy that I currently do business with uses Motul. Is there a discernible difference ? None that I can really tell.

I just picked up 0w40 at Wally world for $22 and some change. Great price after paying $34-$36 at Advance for the same 5 quart jug. That is all I have ever run in my 99'.

Can anyone show me what benefits there are for changing from the manufactures recommended weight and using a heavier weight oil like 10w40?
