oil cooler location

question: building an oil cooler setup for my box. using an lne adaptor into a canton sandwich plate. sandwich plate will feed a tstat that will send oil to a setrab cooler when hot enough. going with -10AN fittings. looking for a good location for the cooler. i see a lot of racers vent their rear bumper and locate the cooler there. i have the AC out of my car and was thinking of locating the cooler in the front to avoid fans, ducting, etc., also to move some weight foward. wondering if the oil pump can make enough pressure to push the oil the distance, or if i should keep the cooler closer and the lines shorter.

thanks for any help.

Right side of the transmission to take advantage of the intake vent and exhaust fan there or mesh up the rear bumper recess....less fittings/lines to worry about

i was going to put my tranny cooler up by the cooling fan - there's room with the secondary air injection pump removed.

again, wondering if the oil pump can create enough pressure to push to the front and back.

Check with BGB or HRG....Eric might have done this on his GT racer.
You really need some pressure drop /oil pressure data and someone's experience to know.

I have seen old 911s with a cooler way out front...maybe compare those kits and
the corresponding oil pump output with the M96 oil pump output to gauge feasibility.

I have not seen coolers out front for the m96/7

I recall that feeding the IMS solution with oil was not a trival considerstion
