Best Mobil 1 Price..??

Hi,

Just a brief query about who's found the best price for Mobil 1 0W-40 or 10W-40 Motor Oil? I have found both online for $6.49/qt. and $7.99/qt. respectively. Before I buy, has anyone found a better price? TIA for your replies...

NAPA had it on sale for $4.59/quart.

I ordered two cases of 0W40 at the local store and they had it there the next morning. Not sure if the sale is still on or what areas it's in.

Wally world sells 0W40 in the $5/quart range here. They also have 10W40 and 15W50 in the 5qt bottles for around $25.

Our local BJ's warehouse place sells the 10W40 and 15W50 for ~$25/6 pack case every day.

Wally World has it for around $5 per qt but it is not always in stock.

They also have Shell Fully Syn Rotella 5W-40 for around $3.25 per quart.

Great oil.

Autozone in Austin has all grades for $5.30/qt (includes 0W-40), slightly less for 6-pk-don't remember this price.

Hi,

What weight did you buy?? I went to WalMart here on your recommendation and they did not have any 40 weight in the fully synthetic, only the Synth Blend and Dino Oils. Is yours the Fully Synthetic? Mobil now sells Organic Oil and a Synthetic Blend under the name Mobil 1, you have to examine the labelling carefully.

There are currently two Mobil 1 fully synthetic oils. To my knowledge, there is ONLY ONE 0W-40 Weight Euro Blend.

To verify, check out

Good luck!

Hi,

Thanks for everyone's replies. I tried to follow-up on several of your leads, but found that most retail outlets do not carry Mobil 1 in the 10W-40 or 0W-40 weights here, apparently due to low demand for it. Those few I did find who carried it wanted $5.99/qt. for it.

So, I looked up and contacted the Mobil/Exxon Distributor here in town, Lubrication Technologies. Turns out that they'll do Will Call sales to the Public and I was able to acquire it at $3.66/qt., minimum of 12 qt. purchase, so I have a couple extra for top ups. I pass this along because the savings make it worthwhile to see if there's a Distributor in your area. Hope this helps...

Happy Motoring!...Jim'99
