I have the same problem - the stitching has come apart on both sides of the window where the plastic window folds (about 6"-8" on each side). The window is still in very good condition with no cracks or yellowing.

I don't know anything about stitching and working on a convertible top is a thankless job (been there, done that, and swore to never do it again). My solution is to have the entire plastic window replaced at a local upholstry shop on Tuesday. Cost = $400.
