Too little information. Was all the work done at the same time by the same mechanic? Did the problem (losing power) start immediately or after a while? Did the mechanic test the system/car after doing the work and before returning it to you? Have you spoken to the mechanic about the problem so he could evaluate the situation.

Both of your changes have electrical (computer) implications associated with them so, as stated above, you'll have to eliminate one at a time and see which one is causing the problem. I would take back to the shop that did the work and have them make it right.
