Trying to glue the tank is a bit of false economy; the hardest part is getting at the tank it find out where it is leaking from. Then, depending upon where the leak is, you may still have to pull it to get at the crack, which is in a chemical resistant poly that many adhesives simply do not adhere to. Even then, to properly patch a crack, you should drill small relief holes at the ends of the crack to stop its spread, not an easy task with it still in the car. In any case, pulling, drilling, patching, and reinstalling a repaired tank that may or may not hold does not make a lot of sense when a new one retails for a little over $100…………
