I've got 7mm spacers with 10X18" rims on the rear and 285/40/18 Nitto Nt01 tires. That's about all that will fit, and yes, with the car lowered, I do have to be choosy about the roads I travel and especially the driveways I enter. The biggest issue is scraping the nose. The rough ride is a close second.
The RoW M030 kit will lower your car significantly, but it's not going to put the fenders down over the tires like that Cayman. To get that low, you will need at least coilovers and rear toe links. The toe links will keep the car from having a pigeon-toed alignment, but at that ride height, no matter what, you will get lots of negative camber. This looks nice and makes the rear end hook up very well in fast corners, but in street driving (particularly highway) the car will eat the inside edges of the rear tires.

Jonny (& "J"), did you have to go much stiffer on spring rates, to reduce travel and keep the tires out of the fenders?

Where is your car from? You probably already have the RoW suspension.

I plan on putting on a set of HRE p40 in the 19 incher 8.5"et47 front and 10"et50 rear. Those are sitting in the garage since April I think.

Anything else, other than someone that knows how to dial a PSS9 kit, that I need to get this thing looking as good as it did back in the late 90's?

(thanks for all your replies and hands on experience on this one guys. Much appreciated btw)

j.from - if you have pics of your set-up please shoot mate. Very curious.. and always good to have for motivation purposes!
For starters, you'll need to reduce the offset on the rears to around +40 in order to clear the adjustable perch on the PSS9's.
