Headers for 2000 Boxster S question!

I want a great set at a GREAT PRICE any ideas. I already have a Cargraphic muffler and will have cat by-pass pipes after headers are on. I do not wish for any CEL to come on and have looked at some like Instant G and ScarGo. All promise power yada yada yada, But for bang for the buck who is the best.

I was looking at getting the 2ndary Cat bypass pipes from www.fabspeed.com

They look aweseome and your CEL will stay off and about $500.

CEL light stays off so says Fabspeed. I haven't heard from alot ppl with this mod yet so I would proceed cautiously. As far as headers go you can't beat the Dansk. They may not look as polished and fancy as the ones mentioned but they will do the job just the same at half the price or less. I think those instant G's and the highend S-car-go models cost around 3k so actully the dansk are about a 1/3 less.

no CEL lights for me...

headers, bypass, muffler, etc all by techart...previous owner had done all the work and he was NOT cost conscious...receipt for the parts and labor was $7k including the above plus new throttle body, new ECU, and air filter swap (but no other monkeying with intake stuff). I've owned the car for close to a year now and no problems...just joy.
I believe the techart headers by themselves msrp at $1,900.

when you post, look down below...

for the 'manage attachments' button, hit that, then a new window pops up where you can browse to the file then upload it, then submit your reply post. file sizes are limited to something like 200k.
can he make them in any color?

I will check into it for you. I know it comes in a wide color selection they use the same vinyl for lettering on trucks trailers and things.

droool....
I would add the SuperCup lower lip spoiler and paint it red! I had a Black car with an aero kit before my Boxster and it was sooo dark the ground would just blend into th car. Those $25 chrome ebay grills would bring out the black too. It was a nice pop on my Silver/red. Gave it a more 'finished' look.
Here's a nice pic of the GT3 bumper I picked up with the SuperCup Lip. This owner had RS inlets cut into his bumper.
The silver hood crest really looks nice too.

Perfect lap: that looks so nice I am thinking of putting a turbo bumper on it. I love the idea of the lower lip though thanks. I will also find those silver e-bay grills great more mods

If you dig around you can find an OEM GT3 bumper like the one in the above pic for less than those aftermarket Turbo bumpers which are all made of fiberglass.
I saw one Polyurethane Turbo bumper on Ebay for about $1300 so that would be a better choice. I just received ny GT3 (new MK2) side skirts from precisionPorscche.com and despite the very long wait (one month) They look great for $430 delivered. They are fiberglass but I really wanted the new GT3 side skirt style instead of the Aerokit II skirting mostly seen on Boxsters.
It looks very easy to install via some clips and double side tape.
