My wifes Boxster has a real german license plate on the front and I really like the way it looks so I got this one made for mine.

It is crazy quick but the bigger motor makes the 986 a world class touring car, 70-90 is instantaneous. It is what the true potential of the 986 is.

I would hang on to that EU tag. The way things are going, it could be worth something some day.
"Hey, remember the EU? Now that was an idea!"

No Atlanta. If I lived in Germany I would be a Nordschliefe junky and would never work.

Cool, let me know how long it takes to get yours.
I just realized today that yellow is primarily used for rear tags in EU. I'm using it for the front. to late to change it now.

So I guess you guys live in the states that don't require front tags? I live in Texas and front tags are required. I would love to have one of these.
btw... I keep my front tag is under the front seat in case I have to throw it on the dash quickly ...just in case I get pulled over. Texas tags look pretty damn ugly on a front bumper.
So, just wondering if you guys are taking a chance like me (somewhat).

I am in Texas as well and I have never had plates on the front. However I just moved here a few months ago so I might encounter this but for now I have my Utah plate on the rear and have not had a chance to register in the state of Tx yet. Keeping a plate in the car under the seat could work

Texas does require front plates. Mostly to nail you for speeding though to have something flat to hit with laser or radar.
Houston Police have pulled me over twice and given me a verbal warning. Texas Dept. of Safety has pulled me over once with a verbal warning.
If you're nice you can talk your way out of this one. If you're not nice, it's $75 and a non-moving violation.
The money paid once a year for this ticket is worth it to me not to have a plate on the front.

Amen to that. I will pay to NOT have a plate as well.

got mine today. realized I didn't order the frame. so I have to wait for that.
Also my Plate reads the same as the real one; although I don't think it would get me out of a ticket but may help a little.
Yes it is illegal to drive without a front tag in VA. (but I have a front tag officer)
1 out of about 20 or so cars don't have one though, guess there getting tickets to.

Here's my "Euro" plate
Here's my Connecticut front plate made Euro...
A little trimming with some tin snips, a little blue electrical tape to wrap the edges, and get the blue border back. Looks good to me, and if I get pulled over, I have a CT plate on front. Unfortunately I will probably get a ticket for illegally modifying a plate!
