Boxster Spoiler stuck up???

Hey guys has anyone has this problem before. I only noticed it this morning when i got into the car that the spoiler hasn't gone back down into the boot?? Is this a major problem or is there anyway i can reset this??

There's a button to manually retract it near the clutch pedal to the left side. Press and hold the bottom of the button.

EDIT: Wait, since you're in South Wales, it should be on the right side of the gas pedal...

I'd try to check & clean the inside of the spoiler first tho, make sure there's nothing like dirt/oil/dead rats caught in between.

perfect cheers mate will take a look when i get out of work!! this is my first boxster so panicked a bit then!! When does the spoiler come out?

80mph and retracts at 50mph I believe.

it may have been stuck there due to the ice its very cold here!!

why is there that button then? do some people have the spolier up permanently?

There's a button because. It's always good to have manual override.

I think it's there so you can put it up for cleaning. Or show it off to your friends.

I've seen people who put it up while driving on city streets. Gives me a cheap laugh!

Stuck Up Spoiler

I use my button to put the spoiler up for cleaning. It also came in handy when I applied my "Mach Schnell" decal on the spoiler. As for being stuck up, I think we all get an attitude from time to time, but I can't say as my spoiler has ever been stuck up.
