Well... I pulled the trigger on a LSD :D

I broke down and bought a Quaife TBD for my car after driving a reasonably modified Cayman S last weekend at an autocross. The Cayman with the Quaife was extremely willing to be driven at the edge with what felt like very controllable oversteer and a tremendous amount of grip. I should receive it sometime next week.

Will you be installing it yourself or farm it out?

You are brave soul. LSD installs look quite involved.

At the time, the LSD cost ~$1400 and the install cost $550 or so.
